A Moment of Clarity

For some, the path to music can be a straight line. For me it’s been more like a storm – shaped by this winding road called life. I have always had music in my heart and always looked for ways to express it, either through personal endeavors or through bands, but real life can be bitch. 

After years of putting other priorities first and walking through seasons that demanded my focus elsewhere, playing music seemed like a long distance memory. Then one day after years of not playing the guitar. I picked up my dusty guitar, sat down and I played for hours, and something magical happened. I guess it was the spark that lite the flame. That passion and fire that I once had, came back and I haven’t put the guitar down since. 

Rooted in the raw energy of punk and the heaviness of metal with a rhythmic style for destruction, my sound is fueled by years of holding it in – until now. One song might hit hard for you, while another song might be more pop-punk influenced and that’s by design.  I never want to box myself in and enjoy creating different avenues for different listeners, all wrapped in my sound and my passion.

This isn’t about chasing a dream. It’s about honoring the fire that never died. Honest. Unapologetic. Loud. It has been an endeavor of many years of listening to Metal and Punk and everything else Rock and that’s the fun and excitement of my music and I hope you enjoy it and join me on this musical journey. So, soak up the sun, release and seize the day because life is short.
